Immense Sea

Once again the streets empty
And the cold takes over the city
There’s nobody here that I know
And there’s no me without you
I look at the broken door
I see the frame on the floor
The picture of a smile remembrance
And you’re telling me: “no chance”
And you’re gone
Never to return
Now I’m lying, dead on the beach
By trying to cross the ocean to reach you
And the longer
Should I wait?
How many times do I have to die
To be able to reach you?
Looking to the horizon
Knowing where you are
You’re living your life
After this immense sea
I swore I’d forgotten you
I slipped into my own words
And I could not meet
Everything I wanted to do
Drowning in my own tears
Trying to heal every wound
Wishing the night to end delay
Crawling in the dark waiting another in his place
And I know that you’re gone
Never to return
Now I’m lying in a corner
Trying not to remember
And the longer
Should I wait?
The more I have to drink
To not remember you?
Looking to the horizon
Knowing where you are
You’re living your life
After this immense sea
Thank you for being with me
All this time
And I do believe that would be yours forever
It’s nice to think about how you left me
Bleeding in this cold ground
Hearing the sound, you’re leaving
But I don’t regret having tried
Died fighting for and against you
Bleeding, burning, screaming, dropped on the floor
Hearing the sound, you closin’ the door
And the longer
I will have to endure?
The more I have to die
To not remember you?
Looking to the horizon
Knowing where you are
You’re living your life
As I end my
After this immense sea
